"Portare il giardino nella trattoria!"

Questa la richiesta specifica del committente e l'ispirazione seguita durante la fase di progettazione.

Si tratta di una trattoria che a un certo punto della sua storia ha deciso di rinnovare i suoi ambienti mantenendo i valori della tradizione per continuare ad accogliere la fedele clientela locale e per attirare sempre di più i turisti e i viaggiatori che occasionalmente attraversano il piccolo borgo di San Piero in Chianti.

Con leggere modifiche siamo intervenuti sul bancone e la pavimentazione per dare maggiore spazio ai tavoli e rendere più accogliente l'ingresso.

La vera operazione di rinascita è stata tutta affidata allo studio dell'atmosfera del locale. Così, unendo la necessità di intervenire sull'illuminazione e il diletto di portare il giardino dentro la trattoria, abbiamo sviluppato un sistema sospeso a soffitto composto da una struttura metallica su cui si innestano sfere bianche (l' illuminazione) e vaschette porta-fiori da cui fuoriescono verso la sala le piante d' edera (il giardino).

Da questa struttura-giardino sospesa della sala principale, come se si staccassero per diventare elementi indipendenti ma funzionalmente ed esteticamente collaboranti all'insieme, altre luci porta-fiori sono state posizionate nella sala d'ingresso e nella saletta sul retro per illuminare gli ambienti e segnare elegantemente la posizione dei tavoli.

La struttura dal colore scuro rimpicciolisce visivamente la sezione del tubolare, strutturalmente necessaria a sostenere i pesi che su di essa gravano, e disegna lo spazio al di sopra della sala.

Le pareti sono state rivestite con una boiserie color vinaccia, a ricordo della bevanda che più di ogni altra rappresenta lo spirito della trattoria.

"Move the garden inside the restaurant!"

This is the specific request of the client and the inspiration followed during the design phase.

It is a "trattoria" that at a certain point in its story decided to renovate its rooms while maintaining the values of tradition to continue to welcome the loyal local clientele and to attract more and more tourists and travelers who occasionally cross the small village of San Piero in Chianti.

With slight changes we have intervened on the counter and the flooring to give more space to the tables and make the entrance more welcoming.

The real rebirth operation was all entrusted to the study of the atmosphere of the place. Thus, combining the need to intervene on lighting and the pleasure of bringing the garden into the restaurant, we have developed a suspended ceiling system consisting of a metal structure on which white spheres (lighting) and flower trays are inserted, where ivy plants (the garden) emerge towards the room.

From this suspended garden-structure of the main hall, as if detached to become independent elements but functionally and aesthetically collaborating with the whole, other flower-holder lights have been positioned in the entrance hall and in the back room to illuminate the rooms and elegantly mark the position of the tables.

The dark-colored structure visually reduces the section of the tubular structure, structurally necessary to support the weights that weigh on it, and draws the space above the room.

The walls have been covered with a wine-colored boiserie, in memory of the drink that more than any other represents the spirit of the restaurant.
